Genealogical and Historical Record of the Descendants of John Pease, Sen., Last of Enfield, Conn, p. 13, suggests there was a second wife "Rachel ---", but offers no date of marriage. Further it includes a daughter Jemima whose birth record names mother Hannah so almost certainly belongs to a different Robert Pease who had a wife named Hannah. Without any children and without any explanation why this was included, and nothing obvious being seen, it is not clear if this marriage even happened. An article in Source:Connecticut Nutmegger (Connecticut Society of Genealogists), Vol. 27, p. 376, says, "a search of the vital and land records for both Enfield and Somers failed to reveal any reference to this second wife Rachel". The first wife died in late 1711, and Robert married the next wife in 1716/17 so this marriage, if it happened, the entirety of the marriage was somewhere inbetween those dates.
