Some of the children in this family may have been of a previous wife of Richard Naylor. (However, in her will, Elizabeth mentions John, presumably the eldest son, as well as Robert, Hugh, Thomasine, Alice, and Joan. The other sons were presumably born after John, so would have been hers as well.)
