Popular Young Monona Couples Wed

Montgomery-Rittenhouse

The marriage of Parks W. Rittenhouse and Miss Anna Mae Montgomery took place at the residence of Father Donlon at 10:30 Saturday, December 1st. They were attended by Miss Marie Moses and Edward Frese, close friends of the bride and groom.

After the marriage ceremony, a wedding dinner was given at the home of the bride for the bridal party and close relatives.

The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Montgomery, who have lived in Monona for a number of years, and where she attended high school. The groom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. H.S. Rittenhouse, who was born and raised in Monona, a graduate of the Monona High School and of Coe College, Cedar Rapids. He is employed in the Leader office.

The young couple will make their home in Monona, having started housekeeping in the Robt. Boyce residence on south main street.
