Editor's note: "Oliver, son of Robert and Anne (Crowell) Millard, was born in Liverpool, N.S. on October 3, 1784. He married Elizabeth, daughter of Stephen and Janet (More) Snow in 1818. She died in 1819 and he married Martha Van Horne in 1824. Oliver Millard died in Eastport, Maine, on May 13, 1856."
