Elizabeth Balch deposed on the “very day that Capt. George Corwin was buried” that “she was riding double on horseback with her then unmarried sister Abigail Woodbury, soon to be the wife of Nathaniel Waldron of Wenham.” [Captain Corwin died 3 Jan. 1684/5 per Essex Antiquarian 3(1899):68] Elizabeth Balch’s undated deposition against Edward Bishop and his wife was in 1692 [David L.
