Marriage year estimated based on the unproven theory that the same Ermengarde married first Herbert Count of Vermandois and then Milo Count of Tonnerre, and the suggestion (in Medieval Lands) that Herbert died in 993. This makes the birth years of Milo and Ermengarde's sons too late for them to be the "Achardus, Odo, Raynardus" who witnessed a charter dated to about 992 (Cawley). Therefore, the theory that the same Ermengarde married both men might be incorrect - or any of the dates might be incorrect.
