The above information is based on the 1860 US Census and 1870 US Census, both for Campbell County, Kentucky, which is where Evergreen Cemetery is located (which is where Mathias Miller (1) is buried. In the 1860 census, the father's occupation is Carriage Trimmer, and in the 1870 census, the same occupation is given for the father and for the sons Mathias and Charles. Mathias Miller (1) who married Magdalena Scheiderer was a carriage trimmer according to the 1880 census. It might be a stretch, but the date of birth matches up, as well as both parents being born in Bavaria, and the families seem to have spent time in both Campbell County, Kentucky and Hamilton and County, Ohio which corresponds to other data. Mathias and Magdalene (the parents here) could not be found in the 1880 census, so they may have died between 1870 and 1880 - hoping to visit Evergreen Cemetery and find out if they are buried there along with son Mathias. |
