Partition of Real Estate
Mary Cullum, late widow of Luther C. Corbin, late of Tippecanoe county, Indiana, deceased, now wife of Edward Cullum; also the said Edward Cullum, present husband of the said Mary, and the heirs of Luther C. Corbin, deceased, are hereby notified that I shall, on the first day of the next term of the Probate Court of Tippecanoe county, Indiana, to be holden at the Court house in said county on the second Monday in August next, apply to said court, for the appointment of Commissioners to make a partition of the real estate of Luther C. Corbin, among the owners and proprietors there of according to their respective rights. I have purchased all the interest, right, and title, which the following heirs of said Luther had upon his decease, by inheritance in and to said real estate, to wit: James Mitchell, Lucinda Corbin, Richard Moore, and Doreas Moore, wife of Richard Moore, formerly Doreas Corbin, Richard Baker and Catherine Baker, wife of said Richard, formerly Catherine Corbin, Michael Murray and Miranda Murray, wife of said Michael, formerly Miranda Corbin.

The first permanent settlement here was made by JAMES PAIGE and RICHARD BAKER in March 1823. Within two weeks after they arrived came the families of Mr. THOMPSON and LUTHER CORBIN.
