The record shows Juan's parents to be Jose Zayas and Antonia Miranda. Marcos Bernier and Carmen Giraud are recorded as Carmen's parents. Carmen was 46 years old at time of marriage and Juan was 57 years old. Father Gabriel Rodriguez performed the marriage. Genaro Rodriguez and Arisoto Donartes were witnesses. Carmen was a widow and her deceased husband was Jose Blasini. Juan was also a widower and his deceased wife was Marcelena Zambrana.
