  4.   Note Josue / Joseph Jacob was granted granted guardianship of all four daughters of Elizabeth Case and Benjamin Doughty: Desire, Elizabeth, Margaret and Martha Doughty. His son Samuel married Desire Doughty. Two death dates for an Elizabeth Jacobs remain unclaimed in Mansfield excluding the wives of Joseph's children and grandchildren: 5/15/1769 and 11/5/1740. One of these is likely the death date of Elizabeth Case-Doughty-Jacobs.
