↑ Martha was the second wife of John Seaman. According to Source:Jacob Milton Bergen, Sr. family of Long Island, New York : ancestors descendants and allied families, the last child of first wife Elizabeth was born abt. 1653. Martha Seaman, clearly a daughter by John's second wife m. about 1675 Nathaniel Pearsall (first child b. 27 Jan 1676 according to Source:The Seaman family in America, as descended from Captain John Seaman of Hempstead, Long Island, p. 23), so probably Martha was probably born 1657 or before, so John Seaman's marriage to Martha Moore is estimated to be about 1655. We have no record of Martha's birth, only her baptism in 1639, but most likely she was not a newborn at the time.
