Reverend Mullen was minister of the Church of God and lived the first house north of the church. He had two daughters, Amanda Mullen Miller and Laura Bell Mullen Bond. Reverend Mullen was a Revolutionary war soldier. He married Jesse and Ida Crawley Moore November 23, 1905. He performed Lucy Moore's marriage to Beryl Bryan Kinsey December 10, 1924. He said he married John McLuen twice, his first wife was Maud Miller. They had two sons, Wayne and Donald. Maud died early and John married Bessie Dupuy in 1924. They had Mona and Helen Ruth.
