Geoffrey Loomis may be another child of this family, even though he was not mentioned in John's 1619 will, when Geoffrey was still alive.

The will of John Loomis, dated 14 Apr 1619, mentions 'Agnis my loving wife'. The author speculates that she may have been a Lingwood (a sister of Geoffrey Lingwood, whose son William calls John and Agnes' son Joseph "cousin" in a letter in 1651, p. 98) or a Wilson (a relative of William Lingwood's wife).

  2. Marriage year estimated based on estimated birth year of their son Joseph.
  3. The Ancestral File gives a marriage date of 30 Jun 1589 (middle of the year), but does not indicate the parish, which, together with the fact that the researchers of the Loomis book (who did extensive searches of parish registers) did not find it, makes this information highly suspect.
