    (NOTE: I believe that marriage #395 is between John Preston Jennings and Mary Susan Virginia Howell, two of my gg grandparents, who migrated to Iowa about 1854. Mary Susan's brief handwritten account of her life survives, and in it she states that she and John Preston Jennings were married the 20th of July 1852.
