The sister of John P. Heywood, Rebecca (Heywood) Barrett, had her estate divided amongst her 3 surviving siblings, and one share split among Lincoln Heywood, Samuel Heywood, Jonah [probably misread: appears it should be Josiah] Priest in right of his wife, Peter Fletcher in right of his wife. Lincoln, Samuel, and Lydia Priest are clearly identifiable as children of John P. Heywood, and so this appears to be his share. However, the wife of Peter Fletcher appears to be a daughter of John's sister Ann, and not a child of his. It is not clear if there was a fourth child who was just misidentified by the judge but unknown to me, or this is some sort of an error, even including my own misreading of the probate file. --Jrich 23:22, 8 March 2014 (UTC)
