Honor went to Canada with Sue and Ann and Ann died soon after arrival (meningitis?). The plan was for the 2 girls to stay in Canada for the duration of the war. Sue had been getting stressed by the bombing. Honor travelled with them in the autumn of 1940 and was to return home. In the event she brought Sue back.
