Notes for HARMON WAYMAN: From "Germanna History", Notes: Harmon Wayman, perhaps the third son, lived near his brother Henry until about 1794. Harmon's first wife was Elizabeth Clore, the daughter of Peter Clore and his wife Barbara Yager. After Elizabeth Clore died, Harmon married Frances Clore, the daughter of John Clore.

Henry Stonesfifer and wife Mary and John & his wife Jemmina 15th June 1778, sold 100 acres in Culpeper to James Newman. Their neighbors were Newmans, Huffmans, Manspiles. The Schmidt/Smith family was not that distant.
From "Germanna History", notes: “John Clore, Junior, assignee (in 1777) of John Stansifer; 6 Dec 1769 - 12 Apr 1770; 22 acres on S. side of drs. of Pass Run or Strother’s Run & N. side of the doubletop Mt.; adj. Dr. Wallace, decd. CC - Michael Clore & John Clore, Junior. Surveyor - Richard Young.” John Stonecipher married the sister of John Clore, Jr. Probably, Michael Clore was the brother of John Clore. She married Michael Clore (Reference # 192 & 198) also in the part of Culpeper Co. now included in Madison Co., Virginia. Michael Clore was born 1 December 1746 at Orange (now Madison) Co., Virginia and died 7 December 1817.
