Know all men by these presents that we James Lansdale and Jacob Warner are held and favorly bound into the commenwealth of Kentucky in the just and fair sum of 50 pounds convienent money of Kentucky which payment which will and truly be made we bind ourselves and heirs so jointly and severally (?) by these presents sealed and dated this first day of November 1814. The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas there is a marriage shortly to be had and solemnized between the above named James Lansdale and Hetty Warner if there shall be no lawful cause to obstruct the said intended marriage then this obligation to be void else full force and virtue.
