Edith's obituary reads, "MRS. EDITH FALLS BENJAMIN - Mrs. Edith Falls Benjamin, 80, a resident of Fort Wayne until 12 years ago when she went to live with a daughter, Mrs. Earl Keys, of Detroit, died there Thursday afternoon. She was born in Marion Township, the daughter of Joseph and Susan Falls, and was a member of the Methodist Church at Detroit. Survivors include, besides the daughter, four sisters, Mrs. C. J. Barkley, Mrs. John Dennis and Mrs. Fred Somers, all of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Henry Presuhn, of Hoagland; and two brothers, Frank Falls, Fort Wayne, and Otto Falls, of Kendallville. The body will arrive late this afternoon at the Ake & Son Funeral Home, Poe, and will be taken to the Henry Presuhn residence at Hoagland where friends may call after 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the residence with the Rev. Clayton Steel officiating. Burial will be in the New Haven I.O.O.F. Cemetery." [Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, Friday 15 Mar 1946, pg. 22]

She is buried at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in New Haven, Indiana.
