Larry and Winifred had two children, one daughter and one son.

Winifred's obituary reads, "MRS. LARRY SHEIBLEY. Mrs. Larry Sheibley, 45, of Elkhart, the former Miss Winifred Gladieux, died unexpectedly early Saturday night in the Elkhart General Hospital, where she had been taken a few hours earlier. Surviving in addition to the husband are a daughter, Mrs. William Unger, South Bend; a son, Paul, at home, and three sisters, Mrs. Ninette Myers, Mrs. Eddress Madden and Mrs. Celeste Swinehart, and a brother, Eugene Gladieux, all of Fort Wayne.
