Family:Henry Stroud and Mary Hawkins (1)

Paul Heckethorn, Genealogical and Other Newsworthy Items Abstracted from Pittsburgh Reporter, 25 Jan 1822 - 25 Dec 1827, Closson Press, May 1999, p67, 72 states that Henry Stroud married Mary Ann Hawkins, daughter of William Hawkins of Allegheny Co, PA, on 30 January 1827.

Henry Stroud married Mary Ann Hawkins in Allegheny Co, PA on 30 January 1827, officiated by Rev. Joseph Stockton. Can anyone help me find out who Henry Stroud's parents were or when/where Henry died? I know this couple had at least one child, Francis Stroud, b1832; d 28 June 1872, O'Hara Twp, Allegheny Co, PA; he married Sarah Eberhart and they had five known children.

His widow Mary Ann Hawkins Stroud remarried sometime between 1846-1853 to a Mr. Potts. Mary Ann Hawkins was the daughter of William D. and Ann Hawkins of Indiana Twp, Allegheny Co, PA.
