  9. five children at this time, Lewis, Abraham, Jacob, Cora and Nellie. Thefamily that lives in this home in 2004 raises Llama's. This from Carla(Haegle) Watson: The original color of the house was yellow with blackdoors and shutters. The house was updated in 1968; a side porchenclosure was added (right side that you can't see in this picture) anew staircase was centrally located, white siding was added and plumbingand electricity installed. Daisy Belle and Cora returned to this houseand lived there for a few years after the house was updated, I also,lived there for a short period of time and occupated the large frontbedroom on the second floor (left side in this picture). The house hadmany tin ceilings and were beautiful. The building in the back shown inthis photo was the summer kitchen, directly behind the house there was asmokehouse and a wonderful garden. There were many trees on theproperty and a iron gate at the front of the walk.
