Grundy and Candace:

According to the 1910 census, Grundy and Candace were living in Election Precinct 7, Sweetwater County, Wyoming. He listed his occupation as medical doctor. Their names were written differently (Brendy E. and Canbase). The census also showed that they were married less than a year.

In 1920, Grundy and Candace were living in San Diego, San Diego County, California. He is listed as a doctor of medicine. Also residing with them was their only daughter, Marceline, born ABT 1912 in Wyoming.

Grundy (Gresny) and Candace had moved to Long Beach, California before the 1930 census was taken. He was listed as a physician (medical). Marceline is now 18 years old and still resides with her parents at 238 Euclid Avenue.

In 1940, Grundy and Candace are still living at 238 Euclid Avenue. He is now a city health official and works for the City Health Department. Also residing with Grundy and Candace are her brother, Charles Brown, and mother, Alice Brown.

Marceline Alice McDonald:

Marceline was born on the 26th of July 1911 in Wyoming. She died on the 13th of August 1937 in Contra Costa County, California. Marceline was married twice. Her fist marriage was to Edmond Thomas Fakes, son of Edmond Seldon Fakes and Effie Jane Jones. They were divorced. Later she married _____ Whitaker (her death certificate listed her surname as Whitaker).
