Illinois Girl and Gerald Laug Wed at Informal Rites Miss Jeannette Vander Naald, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. H. VanderNaald of Cicero, Ill, became the bride of Gerald C. Laug of Grand Rapids at a ceremony performed Saturday afternoon, Sept. 1, in the home of the bride's parents. Rev. VanderNaald performed the ceremony and Mrs. VanderNaald played the wedding march. The bride wore a white embroidered gown fashioned with a train. Her tulle veil was joined to her cap with tiny seed pearls and she carried Killarney roses and swainsona tied with tulle. The former Miss Agnes Irene Wilson of Muskegon, as maid of honor, wore daffodil mousseline de soie and carried Talisman roses and blue delphinium. Louis Laug was groomsman, Cornelius VanderNaald, brother of the bride, sang and was master of ceremonies with Miss Evelyn Smits as mistress of ceremonies. A wedding supper was served in the home of the bride's parents following the ceremony. Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. George Laug and daughter, Geneva, of Madac, Can.; Mr. and Mrs. A.J. TerKeurst of Evanston, Ill.; Miss Smits, Miss Laug and Louis Laug of Grand Rapids and Miss Wilson of Muskegon. Image Gallery
