On a map, sent to this compiler by the German Consulate in Detroit (circa 1960s), it shows a village of "DOERRMOSCHEL", at the southern edge of a group of villages, from where many of the German Reformed pioneers had emigrated. The village is located about a mile south of TESCHENMOSCHEL, from where many of the related Wasem Family had migrated. Another mile north, is BISTERSCHIED, home of some of the related Britzius Family.
