George Chappell married "(1) By about 1642 Christian ______ (assuming she was the mother of his earliest children [NEHGR 150:56, footnote 45]). She died by 1653.
Children: Mary, Abigail, John, Sarah, Rachel although John and Mary might have been by an earlier unknown wife.
Perhaps the sister of Thomas Bell, who in 1671 made a bequest to the "children of my sister Christian, who married one Chappell or Chapman."
