They lived at Mill Hook, near Accord in the Town of Rochester, and presumably he farmed and operated one of the mills there. The homestead was later owned by a nephew, Joseph Westbrook, and his widow in 1880. It was located on the west side of Mettacahonts Road on the south side of the stream known as Mill Brook. The home site presently is occupied by a large camping resort.
