Odeal's obituary read, "Odeal L. Messman, 81, died Monday at her home. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, Francis "Frank"; two daughters...two brothers, Merlin Ternet of Fort Wayne and Clifford Ternet of Avilla; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services at 11 a.m. Friday at Christ Lutheran Church, Woodburn, with calling an hour before services. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at E.
