    In 1801, while working in Barre, Massachusetts, he married Lucinda Witherell, of that town. She was born November 25, 1777, and died April 12, 1842. For nine years after their marriage they lived in Barre. In 1810 they moved to Windham, and in 1826 to the adjoining town of Londonderry, where they remained the rest of their lives.
