"Helen Tokarz Wed To Edwin Wardwell In Morning Service The wedding of Miss Helen B. Tokarz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Chiusciel of Broadview Terrace, to Mr. Edwin R. Wardwell. son of Mrs. Marian Wardwell of Burnside Avenue, East Hartford, took place Saturday at the Church of St. Lawrence O'Toole at 11 o' clock. Rev. Harry Struck performed the ceremony. Presented in marriage by her father, the bride had as her attendant, Miss Eileen J. Gorman of Goshen Street. Mr. John F. Wardwell attended his brother as best man. The bride's gown was fashioned from white faille and was designed with long sleeves, and a bustle back which fell into a long train. Her fingertip veil of illusion was arranged from a Juliet cap, and she carried a white playerbook marked with an orchid. Miss Gorman's gown was made of orchid marquisette, fashioned similar to the bride's, and she wore a fingertip veil draped from a Juliet cap. Her flowers were yellow roses. The couple left for a trip to Washington, D. C., following a reception at the Bond Hotel. For traveling the bride wore a gray suit, blue accessories and a picture hat. Mrs. Wardwell attended Hartford Public High School and is with the Hartford Accident and Indemnity Fire Insurance Company. Mr. Wardwell was graduated from East Hartford High School and served three years with the United States Coast Guard, 18 months of which were in the Pacific Theater.
