Brunswick County, Virginia Deed dated 29 Jun 1762 proves that Edward Freeman was married to Sarah. This deed does not prove Sarah's maiden name, nor does any other record I've seen. (Brunswick Co., VA Deed Book 7 page 136).

Children

I don't know what the proof is, but Dugger Freeman (c1765/68) is considered a child of Edward and Sarah. Dugger moved to Rutherford Co., NC early on and married there in 1789.
