- There does not appear to be any good coverage of the family of Ebenezer and Susanna Fisher of Winchester/Hinsdale, NH. The first Jesse is buried with his father. Susanna has her parents identified on her death record. Barnard and Larnard have their parents named in marriage records. But it is difficult to find other children. A deed in Cheshire County appears to name several. Cheshire deed Vol. 161, p. 524: 18 Mar 1834: Susan Fisher, Francis Fisher, Lewis Fisher, Barnard Fisher, Gustus Adams and Emirancy Adams all of Hinsdale; George and Polly Fisher of Winchester; John and Susan Robbins of Northfield for $70 convey to Jesse Fisher of Hinsdale land in Hinsdale part of lot 34, 35, and 36. On Vol. 1616, p. 526, Larnard Fisher of Warwick for $10 quitclaims to Jess Fisher of Hinsdale a parcel in Hinsdale land part of the same lots. It is difficult to show that Ebenezer Fisher owned this land except that his children sold it, since Vol. 62, p. 200 1812 Solomon Holton sells this land to his sons Bohan and Elihu, and Vol. 97, p. 25 1818 Elihu quitclaims much of the Hinsdale land to Bohan. The transfer from Bohan to Ebenezer Fisher does not appear to be recorded, but in 1828 108, p. 275 Bohan Holton sold some other land to Jesse Fisher land bounded by land "owned by the heirs of Eben'r Fisher deceased".
One would suspect from the wording of the deed that Polly Fisher is a daughter, and she married George Fisher, though it is possible this is two children. They haven't been identified. No record naming father Ebenezer for either has been found, and George was a common name then (particularly variations of George Washington). It is possibly Mary was older, among, or younger than any of the children so far identified (though if married, probably not younger), and it is not known if they survived to the 1850 census or where they might have relocated. George Fisher is listed in Winchester in 1830, age 20-30, apparently with a wife that was 30-40, so born before 1800. No George Fisher is found in Winchester in 1840.
The 1800 census appears to show some older children in Ebenezer's household, with 5 children, 3 under 10, so it is possible there are even more children to be found.
