Racine Journal Times, 1 June 1955: ENGAGED An early September wedding is being planned by Nancy Ann Kohl and Donald Jay Beegle. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kohl, 1223 Highland AV, made the announcement during the recent celebration of their 20th wedding anniversary. The future bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Jay Beegle, 2028 Lathrop AV.

Friends, relatives and neighbors are invited to the ceremony Saturday at 7 p.m. in Plymouth Congregational Church and to a reception immediately afterward in the church parlors.

Racine Journal-Times, 4 Dec 1955: MISS KOHL BRIDE OF DONALD BEEGLE Nuptial promises were exchanged by Nancy Anne Kohl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kohl, 1223 Highland AV, and Donald Jay Beegle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Beegle, 2028 Lathrop AV. Dr. D.D. Wilson officiated at the 7 p.m. ceremony Nov. 19 in Plymouth Congregational Church. The bride's gown was floor length... Margie Johnson, maid of honor, wore nile green nylon chiffon... Bridesmaids Beverly Beegle, Leona Beegle and Ruth Kohl wore orchid gowns... Junior bridesmaid Kathy Kohl was in a floor length gown... Best man was Richard King. Clayton Kohl, Tom Watson, Ralph Kohl and Tony Homolka served as ushers. A reception in the church parlors after the ceremony honored the bridal comple. They are at home at 1946 State ST.
