Family:David Cummins and Elizabeth Sutton (1)

The Pennsylvania census of 1790 shows that David Cummins probably had one son but no daughters born before that census. We do not know the name of that son. Unlike his two sisters, he was not named in the 1818 will of his maternal grandmother suggesting that he had died before 1819.

Mary and Hannah Cummins were named in the 1818 will of their maternal grandmother, Anna Hawkins-Sutton-Freeman, of Sussex County, New Jersey.

Their mother, Elizabeth Sutton-Cummins, was not named in this 1818 will suggesting that she had died before April 1818.

Elizabeth Sutton-Cummins was named in the 1797 will of her paternal grandfather, Jonas Sutton. This suggests that she was still alive in 1796.
