Possible Relation

John M Roberts: cos1776 Note, updated 24 Jun 2016: Based on the 1870 census, the family adopted John M Roberts, b. 18 Mar 1854, Ohio and son of Thomas H Roberts and Martha J Boots (as per his death cert). Mary's maiden name was Roberts, so the child was a likely relation, but I am not sure yet how. He can be found living with the family in the 1860 and 1870 censuses. On 30 Dec 1875, John M. Roberts married Melissa J. Glaze in Jay, Indiana and their family can be found living in Muncie, Indiana (1880), and Richland, Jay, Indiana (1900, 1910, 1920). John M Roberts died in 22 Feb 1928 in Jay, Indiana. He is buried in Hilcrest Cemetery, Redkey, Jay, Indiana (FindAGrave # 19915419).
