Memories from Trent Fisher: The Sprague family lived near where I grew up, one farm to the north. They were a lovely couple who were about the age of my grandparents. I think we often bought and sold poultry with each other. One time we sold them some turkeys which they butchered, and they gave us some turkey tetrazini (obviously I liked it as I remember it fondly 50 years later). Their house is, I believe, still standing at 33384 SW Rogers Rd. At the time, their property was at the end of Wilson Lane, and a housing developer bought all the property to the west of their property (between them and the creek). Clifford refused to sell his property to the developer, and for several years, Rogers Rd was half width for the last hundred yards with their fence at the boundary. I heard him say "maybe you can't stop progress, but you can slow it up for a while." References
