"Frank" and Jennie were married by Rev. F. X. Labonte. Their witnesses were Franciscus Gladieux and Josephine Girardot.

Frank was a farmer and a saloon keeper. He owned 60 acres in Allen County, Indiana.

"Claude F. Gladiux, of New Haven, is a representative of one of the honored and influential pioneer families of Allen county and ws born on the old homestead farm of his father, in Jefferson township, February 6, 1866. He is the son of Francis and Mary (Lamont) Gladieux...Claude Francis Gladieux gained physical and mental vigor through his studies in the public schools of his native township. He continued to assist in the affairs of his father's farm until he had attained his present business enterprise at New Haven. He gives his allegiance to the Democratic party, is a member of the French-American Society of Allen county, and he and his wife are communicants of the Catholic church, in the faith of which they were carefully reared. On January 8, 1894, was solemnized the marriage of Mr. Gladieux to Miss Jennie Giriodot, who likewise was born and reared in Jefferson township, a daughter of Jules and Mary (Borsnet) Giriodot, both natives of France. The father is now one of the honored retired farmers of Jefferson township and the devoted wife and mother has passed to the life eternal. Mr. and Mrs. Gladieux have six children: Ruth is the wife of Eugene Martin, of Indianapolis, and they have two children--Thelma and Ronald; Lottie is the wife of Nicholas Martin, of Fort Wayne; and Pearl, Aldine, Gladys and Lillian remain at the parental home." Jennie's obituary reads, "Mrs. Jennie B. Gladieux, aged 61, of New Haven, died of complications at 9:55 a.m. today at St. Joseph's Hospital. Surviving are the husband, C. F. Gladieux; six daughters, Mrs. Ruth M. Martin, Mrs. Hattie C. Martin, Mrs. Pearl R. Stuckey, Mrs. Aldine Horstman, Mrs. Gladys Kronimaker and Ms. Lillian Pens, all of Fort Wayne; the father, Julian Girardot, aged 90, of New Haven, and seven grandchildren. The body was removed to the Ternet & Lehman Funeral Home in New Haven." [Fort Wayne News-Sentinel, Friday 9 June 1933, pg. 12]

Claude's obituary reads, "Claude Frank Gladieux, 81, of 622 Broadway, New Haven, a retired farmer and New Haven businessman, died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Hospital following an eight-month illness. Mr. Gladieux was born in Jefferson Township and had lived in Allen County all his life. He moved to New Haven in 1914. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, New Haven, the St. Vincent DePaul Society, the Lafayette Legion Local No. 116 and the French-American Society. His wife, Jennie, died in 1933. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Ruth Martin, Mrs. Lottie C. Martin, Mrs. Pearl Toney and Mrs. Aldine Hoarstman, all of Fort Wayne; and Mrs. Gladys Krominacher, of New Haven; a brother, Edward, of New Haven; a sister, Mrs. Ida Roussell, of Besancon; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The body was removed to the Tom Mungovan Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Funeral arrangements are incomplete." [Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, Thursday 20 February 1947, pg. 12]

They are both buried at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery in New Haven, Indiana.
