The following is a translation of the original letter: "I share with you the following dates which our churchbooks discovered.: Rosenthal, Christoph Friedrich, born 15 Nov 1825 7:00 A.M. Wintzingerode. Father: Christoph Rosenthal, Hintersattler, Wintzingerode; Mother: Juliane Rosenthal, nee Bauer. Baptism 27 Nov 1825. Marriage and Ceremony: 28 February 1847 in Wintzingerode with Christiane «u»Friederike«/u» Franke...Christoph Friedrich Rosenthal was at the time of his marriage a miller by profession. No children were born in Germany; Nothing was noted about their emigration."
