Andrew Hall, s/o Edward Hall and Esther ---, m. Susanna Capen, d/o John and Susanna (Baesham) Capen of Dorchester. He "went to Newton in 1695, and Dr. Savage says he was m. there 1691."
[Note: no record of his marriage is found in Newton, Dorchester, or Rehoboth. Several children are recorded in Newton with no dates, and the first with a date is son John, b. 11 Jan 1694/95, which may be the basis for saying he moved there 1695. Savage in his Genealogical Dictionary says "Andrew, Newton, 1691", i.e., no details about any marriage, though he seems to suggest he was in Newton by 1691. One would suspect that the marriage was probably actually in Dorchester, Susanna's home, and 1691 is at best an estimate, and does not imply an actual record of the marriage has been located.]
