“Amaziah Davisson and Samuel Rue, both of Middlesex County; go on bond May 25, 1761, wherein Amaziah Davisson hath license to marry Margaret Burns of the same, spinster. Perth Amoby, the within, Amaziah Davisson, being sworn declares that he is informed and believes that the father of said Margaret is dead, that she has not seen her mother these 8 years, and Mary Buckalier, with whom Margaret lives as apprentice is willing the deponent should marry Margaret. Sworn the 25 May 1761”.
