Priscilla was granted a divorce by Superior Court of Windham County, Connecticut, on grounds of desertion and adultery 22 Sep 1779.
[Note: a nearly identical passage is found in Source:Davis, Donald R. Wilder Connection, p. 50, but the date is misreported there as 1799, which is ironic but Mr. Davis contributed the information added to the Book of the Wilders. That it is an error by the context of the surrounding text in Davis. 1779 is also given in NEHGR, p. 154:152.]
