Ypres

Historical town in West-Flanders, Belgium (Europe). Called "Ieper"[1]" in dutch. Was completely distroyed under World war I and rebuilded almost in the same old style. The "Lakenhalle" is one of the biggest civil buildings of this period in Western Europe. Only a few houses were saved from the bombs. The Biebuycks house (builded in 1544) is one of them.--Biebuyck 17:17, 15 July 2008 (EDT)
