Uses of these pages [1 October 2007]

Project page can also be used to list:

  • progress of past press releases (such as which media were specifically sent copies and which ones made positive use of the copies)
  • links to pages containing drafts for future releases

This talk page is (inter alia) for people to discuss past releases and put up their own (or comment on the promoters') ideas for future releases.

Next press release

I'll take a cue from Robin and say that I'm thinking that our next press release will be first quarter next year once we've moved the hardware into a hosting center and can handle a possible spike in traffic, and that we would send it to a few magazines (Ancestry, Family Tree Magazine, others?) and blogs (Eastman, others?). What do people think about this? Any ideas on who it should go to?--Dallan 21:22, 18 December 2006 (MST)
