Stroem Family [29 September 2010]

Hello. My grandmother came to America from Norway about 1916, through Ellis Island. Her mother was Betsy, her father Hermann. They had four daughters when they came here and I know they had sons once they arrived. One sister, Thea, remained in Norway and she had nine children, some of whom I met this Summer. My grandmother was Jennie. The other's names were Alida, Olga, and maybe one more I am not recalling. Are you descended from one of the sons? I know one or two moved to Oregon or Washington. Olga ended up in San Francisco where it is believed she perished in the Earthquake of 1930s, as she was never heard from again after that event. Let me know if you think we are related and want to know more. Claudia--ClaudiaRys 10:25, 29 September 2010 (EDT)
