Hi, My name is Kevin Cassidy and my great-grandmother married Francis Gormley(1869-1950) in 1903 when they were both widows/widowers.

Peter Gormley was born about 1835, the child of Francis. He married Mary Smollen on March 4, 1867, in Aghaloo, Tyrone, Northern Ireland. They had six children in 10 years. He died on October 23, 1904, in Clogher, Tyrone, Northern Ireland, at the age of 69.

Mary Smollen was born about 1841, in Ireland, the child of John. She married Peter Gormley on March 4, 1867, in Aghaloo, Tyrone, Northern Ireland. They had six children in 10 years. She died on February 24, 1924, in Clogher, Tyrone, Northern Ireland, at the age of 83.

When Mary Anne Gormley was born on December 17, 1867, in Clogher, Tyrone, Northern Ireland, her father, Peter, was 32 and her mother, Mary, was 26. She married John Jacobson on April 29, 1906, in Mount Vernon, New York. She died on April 20, 1952, in Newtown, Connecticut, at the age of 84.

When Frank Gormley was born on March 25, 1869, in Clogher, Tyrone, Northern Ireland, his father, Peter, was 34 and his mother, Mary, was 28. He married Eleanor "Nellie" M Corr and they had one son together. He then married Catherine McGinn and they had one son together. I don't know that I am directly connected to Gormleys of Kilnaheery, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland, but I have people who may be connected.
