When I first started entering genealogy by computer about 1992 Memory was an issue, so I did not try to enter every one, just members of my direct line families. Welcome to WeRelate. As you learn it, you will see how easy it is to load batches of people. Eg, create a GEDCOM of James Ward Reid's descendants, upload it and link his children to his family. You want to be careful not to create a lot of duplicate entries as merging is a manual process at present. It can be done, but there is a match merge utility n the works that will simplify he process.--Scot 16:41, 4 May 2008 (EDT)
