Changing names conventions [1 September 2008]

Hello Judy! to change a person's name from what you see, the rules here are not to change it from within the title (as to add a middle name). You would add the name to that person's page. Hard to explain.

Here are WeRelate, each person's page uses only their first name and their surname in the title page. But within the page itself is where you enter any other titles/ middle names/ suffixes /etc. Call me I can explain it better (hopefully).

So I had to change the title of Delmer Baer back to what it was... but will be sure to put the "Revere" part on his page. --Msscarlet1957 16:42, 1 September 2008 (EDT)

Jack Hollister [17 September 2008]

Judy, You entered on Jack Hollister's page:

Citizens Historical Assoc/Indianapolis, in E.E.Wells, JCC/DLH pg 41, Oct. 12, 1946 Mr. Hollister died in Florida, July 29, 1948

Was it 1946 or 1948?? --Msscarlet1957 01:23, 17 September 2008 (EDT)

image licensing [22 September 2008]

Hi, in regards to your image ,

I have licensed it under the dual GFDL/CC2.5 license because you own the picture. If this is your work, you can do what you like with it. The dual license lets other people use the image as long as they give you credit. Alternatively or if you don't have the explicit permission of the photographer, you could license it under the fair use rules by selecting "Small snipet of an historical photograph."--sq 16:43, 22 September 2008 (EDT)
