Oscar Jordan Farley [26 April 2010]

My grandfather was Julius Casear Farley of Sumner County, WV, son of Oscar Jordan Farley and Nancy Caperton, and brother of Waldo (married to Letha Via and called Aunt Leedy), Clint, Allen T., William Jennings Bryan, Pearl, Lou (married to William H. Ellison), and Rosie (married to James Lewis Ellison)."

If you are related, please contact me. Thank you! Judy Kaelin--Judy Kaelin 21:08, 3 October 2009 (EDT)

Hi Judy, I'm sorry I didn't see your message until today! I have a baby and a toddler, so not a lot of time is available to me on the computer. You are right. We are related. I'm a descendant of Lou Farley and Wm H Ellison. Their daughter, Stacie Ellison Cole, was my great grandmother. Are you familiar with Pipestem in Summers County where the family lived? There is a state park nearby. The Farleys and Ellisons were some of the first settlers there. I have a few pictures of Lou and Wm Ellison and their family but none of Oscar Jordan Farley or Nannie Caperton. There are some photos of Aunt Leedy in my grandfather's possession.

You are welcome to email me directly at asimp1201@bellsouth.net.

Thanks, Alison Simpson St. Augustine, FL--Asimp 09:50, 26 April 2010 (EDT)
