Hello, I am Deb. I am researching the names VAN DER SCHAAF, Schurer, Okkinga, Runia. My greatx3 grandfather was Arjen Douwes VAN DER SCHAAF who immigrated to the USA IN 1881 with his second wife, Antje Romkes Van Der Wal and their daughter Aukje (Agnes ) along with a nephew, Douwe Jelles Van Der Schaaf to near Orange City Iowa. I can find info on Douwe Jelles and Aukje but not my grandfather. I am searching where he is buried. Aukje married Dirk (Derk)Jan Te Paske in Iowa and then they moved to Harrison County, South Dakota. Antje was listed as a widow and living with Aukje and Dirk on the South Dakota census of 1900. This is as far as I can get with her in regards to my Gr grandfather. Aukje is buried in Forestville Cemetery, Easton, Marathon County Wisc. along with Dirk. Any help would be appreciated. Douwe Jelles is buried in Hope Cemetery, Hull, Iowa. Thanks, Deb
