Im searching for Morrow and Thompson both of North Carolina around Cheerokee County or Gastonia. My Grandfather Virgil Lex Thompson was a huge part of my life and filling in the missing links of his ancestors is my mission. I'm trying to find out where I come from. His father Collis Newman Thompson was in the Army around 1930 but I know nothing else about him as he never came home from what I was told. His mother Mattie Mae Morrow Thompson is the daughter of Samuel David 'Dub' Morrow also known as Samuel D. Morrow. Her mother is Mary Caroline McMillian. If anyone can help me fill in the missing pieces to my families past I would greatly appreciated it.
